Kroger Field, home of the Kentucky Wildcats, is under intense scrutiny following the announcement of new luxury suite expansions set to debut next season. While university officials hail it as a “step into the future,” many longtime fans see it as a betrayal of the program’s blue-collar spirit.

“This stadium was built on passion, not privilege,” said longtime season-ticket holder Mark Henley during a protest held outside the stadium Thursday afternoon. “They’re pricing out the heart of Big Blue Nation.”
