PITTSBURGH, PA — Steelers captain and defensive anchor Cameron Heyward has just tackled his biggest off-field victory yet—inking a massive $15 million endorsement deal with Pepsi, and immediately pledging a portion of it to fund the construction of a state-of-the-art Pittsburgh Veterans Wellness and Resource Center.
In a moving press conference held outside Acrisure Stadium, Heyward made his announcement flanked by military veterans, city officials, and Pepsi executives. “This city made me who I am,” Heyward said. “Now it’s time I give something lasting back. This isn’t just a deal—it’s a declaration. Pittsburgh’s my legacy.”
The Pepsi partnership will see Heyward featured in national campaigns that celebrate grit, resilience, and community—values the All-Pro defensive lineman has lived by throughout his decorated career. Known for his relentless motor on the field and compassionate leadership off it, Heyward is using this platform to champion causes close to his heart.
The upcoming Pittsburgh Veterans Center, funded by Heyward’s donation and additional Pepsi contributions, will offer physical therapy services, mental health counseling, job readiness programs, and housing assistance for retired servicemen and women in the region. Groundbreaking is expected later this year.
