Paul Lambert worries about Philippe Clement following Rangers’ crushing of Celtic.
On Sunday, September 1, the first Old Firm derby of the season took place, and the Gers were defeated by their bitter rivals once more.
This put more strain on Clement’s shoulders in addition to prolonging his bad run of play against the Bhoys.
Celtic also need a strong Rangers team, but I don’t think they have one right now, at least not for the entire season..
“I’m not sure if it’s strong enough to compete with Celtic right now, but it might come later.”
Lambert stated that he doesn’t think the Gers have what it takes to unseat his former team this season in an interview with PLZ Soccer on September 2.
The more pressure that this [Celtic dominating] endures, the longer it.
