This spring, Shadows of Asgard brings back two of the most beloved figures from the Vikings saga: Travis Fimmel as the legendary Ragnar Lothbrok, and George Blagden as Athelstan, the conflicted monk who forever changed the Viking chieftain’s soul. In this haunting new limited series, the line between the living and the dead fades, and the gods demand an answer to a friendship that defied faith, culture, and fate.

Set in a surreal, mythic landscape beyond Midgard, Shadows of Asgard follows Ragnar as he journeys through a spiritual afterlife, seeking redemption for the choices that shaped his legacy. But his path is haunted — literally — by visions of Athelstan, whose soul lingers, torn between Christian salvation and Norse destiny.
