VERIA GREECE - OCTOBER 5 2014:A large truck crashed into a number of cars and 4 people were killed and many were injured in a multi-vehicle collision that occurred on Egnatia Odos.

The Pittsburgh Steelers and the NFL are in mourning following the tragic death of wide receiver Dan Moore Jr. Moore Jr., who was just 23 years old, was killed in a car accident on Monday night. The accident also claimed the life of his Kierra Dickson.

Moore Jr. was drafted by the Steelers in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He played in 14 games as a rookie, catching 33 passes for 377 yards and a touchdown. He was considered a promising young talent and was expected to be a key player for the Steelers in the future.

“Dan Moore Jr. was a talented young player with a bright future ahead of him,” said Steelers General Manager Kevin Colbert. “He was a beloved member of our team and our community. We extend our deepest condolences to his family and all those by his life.”

In addition to his on-field accomplishments, Moore Jr. was also known for his charitable work. He was involved in numerous community initiatives and was a vocal advocate for social justice.
