It’s all smiles for Daniel Suarez. In 2025, the legendary Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez will host a race for the Trackhouse driver, marking the first time the NASCAR Cup Series will compete outside of the United States in over 20 years.

Pato O’Ward is experiencing distress. While NASCAR closes closer on Mexico City, the most well-liked driver in the series must wait patiently for a home race.

Following NASCAR’s announcement of its plans, O’Ward told reporters, “They beat us to the cake.”

“I firmly feel that Mexico City is at capacity and that we are not merely running behind schedule. You must realize that these folks put money aside in order to attend these events.

“Not a single individual I’ve encountered has suggested that we delay. “When are we going to get it down here?” has been said by all.

Saying I’m not well-known enough to fill a whole venue only makes your series seem ridiculous.
